How it works

1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Tom, Bert, and William.
2. When Tom, Bert, and William die, they trigger, returning them from your graveyard to the battlefield as a noncreature artifact.
3. Because Tom, Bert, and William enter as a noncreature artifact, March of the Machines will then cause Tom, Bert, and William to be a 5/5 artifact creature.
4. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the troll trio of Tom, Bert, and William into an endlessly recycling resource by leveraging their unique resurrection trigger. Because March of the Machines constantly transforms them from a noncreature artifact into a 5/5 artifact creature the moment they hit the battlefield, their power is locked at five. This massive power allows you to feed them repeatedly to Carrion Feeder, which grows with infinite +1/+1 counters while triggering endless enters-the-battlefield, leaves-the-battlefield, and death events for the trolls.
