How it works

1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Glint-Sleeve Artisan.
2. When Glint-Sleeve Artisan dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Glint-Sleeve Artisan enters, its fabricate ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight's granted persist ability into an engine of endless rebirth, using Carrion Feeder as the ultimate recycling plant to consume Glint-Sleeve Artisan over and over. Because the persist return places a -1/+1 counter and Glint-Sleeve Artisan's fabricate trigger counters it immediately with a +1/+1 counter, the creature never accumulates a net penalty of counters that would shut down its own resurrection. With each iteration, Carrion Feeder grows larger while effortlessly generating infinite sacrifices, leaves-the-battlefield, and death triggers.
