How it works

1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Willow Geist.
2. When Willow Geist dies, it and Mortuary triggers.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Willow Geist from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Willow Geist trigger, causing you to gain 1 life
5. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability.
6. Cast Willow Geist from the top of your library by paying 1 life due to Gwenom.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms Carrion Feeder into an engine that constantly recycles Willow Geist from the battlefield straight back to the top of your library via Mortuary's triggered ability. Gwenom, Remorseless is the linchpin that lets you bypass traditional mana costs entirely, allowing you to recast Willow Geist directly from the library while simply paying life instead. As the Geist continually dies and returns, it pumps up your Carrion Feeder with infinite +1/+1 counters while triggering its own life-gaining death ability to offset the life you spent casting it.
