How it works

1. Defeat Invasion of Amonkhet
2. Invasion of Amonkhet triggers, causing you to exile it, and return it to the battlefield transformed as Lazotep Convert.
3. Choose to have Lazotep Convert enter the battlefield as a copy of Ojer Kaslem that is a 4/4 Zombie.
4. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Lazotep Convert.
5. When Lazotep Convert dies, it triggers, causing you to exile it, and return it to the battlefield transformed as Lazotep Convert.
6. Choose to have Lazotep Convert enter the battlefield as a copy of Ojer Kaslem that is a 4/4 Zombie.
7. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
8. Repeat from step 4.

This clever loop relies on the recursive nature of double-faced cards to create an infinite engine with Carrion Feeder as the ultimate payoff. Once you've defeated Invasion of Amonkhet and cast it transformed as Lazotep Convert, you can have it enter as a copy of Ojer Kaslem, Deepest Growth. Because Ojer Kaslem's back face (Temple of Cultivation) is a land, sacrificing Lazotep Convert to Carrion Feeder triggers its death ability, which sends it back to the battlefield transformed as the Siege—prompting another transformation right back into the creature copy. Each iteration of this cycle pumps Carrion Feeder with infinite +1/+1 counters while generating endless entry, leaving, and death triggers.
