How it works

1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Voracious Brood.
2. When Voracious Brood dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to its replacement effect.
3. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop lets you sacrifice and recur Voracious Brood an arbitrary number of times using Carrion Feeder's snack bar, fueled by the recursive safety net of Isilu, Carrier of Twilight (the back face of Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn). While Carrion Feeder gets endlessly huge on +1/+1 counters, the engine simultaneously pumps Voracious Brood itself through its own massive scaling ability every time it leaves and re-enters the graveyard.
