How it works
- Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Squee, adding .
- Cast Squee from your graveyard by paying 1.
- When Squee enters the battlefield, Mana Echoes triggers, adding C for each Goblin you control.
- Activate Gemstone Array's first ability by paying 2, putting a charge counter on it.
- Activate Gemstone Array's second ability by removing a charge counter from it, adding .
- Repeat.
- If you control four or more Goblins, this combo nets infinite mana.
This delightful loop turns Squee, the Immortal into an endlessly renewable resource, thanks to his unique ability to crawl right back out of the graveyard. When Squee re-enters the battlefield, Mana Echoes generously rewards you with colorless mana proportional to your Goblin count, which Phyrexian Altar can also sacrifice Squee to feed for colored mana. Since converting and filtering your mana into the right colors requires a bit of finesse, Gemstone Array steps in to bank your surplus energy as charge counters until you are ready to cash them back out. Once you control four or more Goblins, the math tips heavily in your favor, allowing you to sustain Squee's casting cost and generate boundless mana of any color along with an infinite storm count.
