How it works

1. Cast Trusty Boomerang by paying 1.
2. When Trusty Boomerang enters, Barret's triggers, creating a 2/2 Rebel creature token.
3. When the Rebel enters, Mana Echoes triggers, adding C for each Rebel you control.
4. Activate Trusty Boomerang's equip ability by paying 1, attaching it to the Rebel token.
5. Activate the Rebel by paying 1 and tapping it, tapping a creature and returning Trusty Boomerang from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Repeat.

This loop is an engine fueled by a clever recursion of equipment and creature tokens. When you cast Trusty Boomerang, Barret, Avalanche Leader steps in to supply a 2/2 Rebel token, which immediately causes Mana Echoes to flood your pool with colorless mana based on your growing Rebel army. Thanks to Tyvar, Jubilant Brawler granting your creatures haste, the newly spawned Rebel can instantly tap to use the equipped ability on Trusty Boomerang, which sends the boomerang safely back to your hand while tapping down an opponent's creature. You can then simply replay Trusty Boomerang for a single mana to restart the whole process, netting more mana and an infinite army of Rebel tokens with every iteration.
