How it works

1. Activate Leyline of Abundance by paying 6, putting four +1/+1 counters on each creature you control due to Pir and Branching Evolution.
2. Activate Devoted Druid's first ability by tapping it, adding .
3. Leyline of Abundance triggers, adding .
4. Activate Devoted Druid's second ability by putting a -1/-1 counter on it, untapping Devoted Druid.
5. Repeat from step 2 three additional times.
6. Repeat from step 1.

This delightful escalation relies on Devoted Druid's ability to constantly untap itself by taking on -1/-1 counters, which is normally a self-limiting resource. However, Leyline of Abundance not only supercharges your green mana production every time that Druid taps, but also provides a massive mana sink to kickstart the engine. Once you activate that sink, Pir, Imaginative Rascal and Branching Evolution step in to multiply your counters exponentially, turning every resolution into a net gain of +1/+1 counters that easily washes away any -1/-1 setbacks and leaves your board infinitely growing.
