How it works

1. Activate Leyline of Abundance by paying 6, putting four +1/+1 counters on each creature you control due to Lae'zel and Branching Evolution.
2. Activate Devoted Druid's first ability by tapping it, adding .
3. Leyline of Abundance triggers, adding .
4. Activate Devoted Druid's second ability by putting a -1/-1 counter on it, untapping Devoted Druid.
5. Repeat from step 2 three additional times.
6. Repeat from step 1.

This clever engine harnesses Devoted Druid's ability to untap itself by placing a -1/-1 counter, which normally limits its endurance, and completely reverses the drawback. Thanks to Leyline of Abundance doubling your mana production whenever a creature is tapped for mana, you quickly generate the massive amounts of green mana needed to activate Leyline's own counter-boosting ability. When you do, Branching Evolution and Lae'zel, Vlaakith's Champion team up as a formidable replacement-effect multiplier, turning those activation counters into a torrential influx of +1/+1 counters that permanently erase the Druid's accumulated -1/-1 counters while infinitely growing your entire board.
