How it works

1. Activate Leyline of Abundance by paying 6, putting four +1/+1 counters on each creature you control due to Doubling Season and Branching Evolution.
2. Activate Devoted Druid's first ability by tapping it, adding .
3. Leyline of Abundance triggers, adding .
4. Activate Devoted Druid's second ability by putting a -1/-1 counter on it, untapping Devoted Druid.
5. Repeat from step 2 three additional times.
6. Repeat from step 1.

This intricate engine relies on Devoted Druid's self-untapping ability to repeatedly tap for green mana, a process significantly supercharged by Leyline of Abundance doubling your mana production every time a creature taps for it. While the Druid normally accumulates lethal -1/-1 counters this way, we can completely bypass that drawback by pouring the accumulated mana back into Leyline of Abundance's massive activation cost. When those counters are finally placed, Branching Evolution and Doubling Season step in to multiply them exponentially, leaving your board with an overwhelming and infinite number of +1/+1 counters.
