How it works

- Activate Devoted Druid's second ability by putting a -1/-1 counter on it, untapping Devoted Druid.
- Repeat from step 2 three additional times.
- Repeat from step 1.
This fascinating loop harnesses the counter-multiplying effects of Branching Evolution and Caradora, Heart of Alacria to completely subvert the downside of Devoted Druid. Because both replacement effects turn a single counter into multiple counters—netting positive growth even when Devoted Druid absorbs its own -1/-1 counters—you can safely sink your accumulated mana back into Leyline of Abundance's massive activation cost to flood your board with infinite +1/+1 counters.
