How it works

1. Deal combat damage using the creature that has Breath of Fury attached and Living Hive, triggering Breath of Fury and Living Hive.
2. Resolve the Living Hive trigger, creating at least one creature token.
3. Resolve the Breath of Fury trigger, causing you to sacrifice the creature it is attached to, then attach Breath of Fury to a creature token, then causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat phase after this one.
4. Repeat each combat phase.

This explosive loop centers on Living Hive dealing combat damage to a player, which immediately floods your board with a swarm of 1/1 green Insect creature tokens. Thanks to Tannuk, Steadfast Second, those tokens enter the battlefield with haste so they are instantly ready for battle, while Tannuk also provides the red color identity needed to cast Breath of Fury. You enchant one of those fresh tokens with Breath of Fury; when it connects in combat, the Aura sacrifices that token to leapfrog onto the next token, untapping your entire team and granting an additional combat phase. By continuously chaining these extra combats, you generate an endless storm of token creature generation, deaths, sacrifices, and untaps to overwhelm your opponents.
