How it works

1. Deal combat damage using the creature that has Breath of Fury attached and Living Hive, triggering Breath of Fury and Living Hive.
2. Resolve the Living Hive trigger, creating at least one creature token.
3. Resolve the Breath of Fury trigger, causing you to sacrifice the creature it is attached to, then attach Breath of Fury to a creature token, then causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat phase after this one.
4. Repeat each combat phase.

This clever setup turns a massive insect swarm into an endless procession of strikes, fueled by the global haste granted by Lavaleaper. When you swing in, Living Hive deals combat damage to a player to flood the board with 1/1 green Insect creature tokens, providing the fresh bodies you need. Meanwhile, Breath of Fury rides on your initial attacker; when that creature connects with the opponent, you sacrifice it to reattach the Aura to one of your newly hatched tokens. Thanks to Lavaleaper's mana-doubling passive, any basic lands you tap along the way are extra potent, while Breath of Fury untaps your entire team and grants an additional combat phase to keep the cycle spinning infinitely.
