How it works

1. Cast Whim of Volrath with buyback by paying 2.
2. Geralf triggers, creating a 2/2 Zombie Rogue creature token.
3. When the Zombie Rogue enters the battlefield, Geralf's second ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on the Zombie Rogue for each other Zombie that entered the battlefield under your control this turn.
4. Resolve the Whim of Volrath spell, returning it to your hand.
5. Activate the Zombie Rogue using Vivi's ability by paying 0, adding at least 2.
6. Repeat.

By setting up Agatha's Soul Cauldron to exile Vivi Ornitier, any creature you control with a +1/+1 counter gains Vivi's powerful mana-producing activated ability, whose output scales directly with its power. Geralf, the Fleshwright provides the engine to generate those creatures—and crucially, to place +1/+1 counters on them as they enter—while also letting you loop cheap spells. By casting Whim of Volrath with its buyback cost, you continuously trigger Geralf to spawn new tokens that immediately acquire the stolen ability, generating a massive surplus of mana with each iteration to sustain the loop indefinitely.
