How it works

1. Cast Ebondeath from your graveyard by paying 0.
2. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Ebondeath, causing target player to mill cards equal to Ebondeath's power.
3. Repeat.

This elegant loop relies on Rooftop Storm to turn your graveyard into a zero-mana casting zone for any Zombie, allowing Ebondeath, Dracolich to slither endlessly back onto the battlefield. Because Ebondeath is able to be cast repeatedly from the graveyard the moment any other creature dies, you can bypass its usual restrictions and immediately funnel it into Altar of Dementia. Each time you sacrifice Ebondeath to the Altar, its power translates directly into milling your opponents out of the game while simultaneously feeding the very death trigger that lets Ebondeath cast itself all over again.
