How it works
- Activate Ant Queen by paying 1, creating two 1/1 Insect and two 1/1 Frog creature tokens.
- Activate Baylen's first ability twice by tapping the Frog and Insect tokens, adding 1.
- Repeat.
This explosive token engine relies on Ant Queen as your mana sink and token generator, but it truly takes flight thanks to the brilliant combination of Parallel Lives and Quina, Qu Gourmet. Whenever you activate the Queen, Parallel Lives doubles the incoming Insect tokens, while Quina, Qu Gourmet not only tacks an extra Frog token onto every single batch but also gives you a way to sacrifice excess Frogs to grow bigger. Once your board is flooded with this massive army, Baylen, the Haymaker steps in to capitalize on the chaos: you simply tap your swarming tokens to Baylen's activated ability to refund the mana needed to keep the Ant Queen running indefinitely, creating infinite mana, infinite card draw, and infinite enters-the-battlefield triggers.
