How it works
- Activate Ant Queen by paying 1, creating four 1/1 Insect creature tokens.
- Activate Baylen's first ability twice by tapping the four Insect tokens, adding 1.
- Repeat.
This loop relies on a brilliant multiplicative engine where Ant Queen provides the raw material to fuel Baylen, the Haymaker's mana ability, which in turn pays right back into the Queen's activation cost. Because Mondrak, Glory Dominus and Bard, King of Dale both feature replacement effects that double token generation, a single activation from the Queen yields a flood of creatures instead of just one. With that wealth of tokens, Baylen can comfortably tap down four of them to generate the exact green and generic mana needed to repeat the process while effortlessly spinning off infinite card draw and giant +1/+1 counters.
