How it works

1. Activate the Equipment by paying its equip cost, attaching it to Rograkh.
2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Rograkh, adding .
3. When Rograkh dies, Koll triggers, returning Rograkh from your graveyard to your hand.
4. Cast Rograkh by paying its mana cost.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns zero-mana commander casting into a self-sustaining engine by exploiting Koll, the Forgemaster's triggered ability to return dying creatures to your hand. Because Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh costs literally nothing to cast, you can repeatedly redeploy him after he is sacrificed to Phyrexian Altar for mana. The crucial missing link is that Koll requires the creature to be equipped or enchanted—a requirement fulfilled the moment you attach any equipment to Rograkh before starting the cycle.
