How it works
- Cast Mishra's Bauble either from your hand by paying 0 or from the top of your library by paying 0 life.
- Showdown of the Skalds triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Arcbound Reclaimer.
- Activate Mishra's Bauble by tapping and sacrificing it.
- Activate Arcbound Reclaimer by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, putting Mishra's Bauble from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
- Repeat.
This loop turns a clever resource cycle into an engine of endless triggers by constantly recycling artifacts right back onto your library. You begin by tapping and sacrificing Mishra's Bauble, which then gets fished out of your graveyard and placed directly on top of your library by Arcbound Reclaimer using a +1/+1 counter. Showdown of the Skalds provides the necessary growth by granting a fresh +1/+1 counter to Arcbound Reclaimer every time you cast a spell, ensuring the reclaimer never runs out of fuel. Meanwhile, Gwenom, Remorseless lets you bypass traditional mana costs by paying life to cast that very same Mishra's Bauble straight off the top of your library, keeping the entire sequence self-sustaining and explosive.
