How it works

1. Activate Chandra's first loyalty ability by putting a loyalty counter on it, adding 1.
2. Cast Flicker by paying 1, targeting Tamiyo.
3. Chandra triggers, causing you to copy Flicker, with the copy targeting Chandra.
4. Resolve both Flickers, blinking Chandra and Tamiyo.
5. Activate Tamiyo's third loyalty ability by removing three loyalty counters from it, returning Flicker to your hand from your graveyard.
6. Repeat.

This loop relies on an infinite recursive blink to fuel an endless chain of copies. By casting Flicker on Tamiyo, Collector of Tales, you trigger Chandra, Hope's Beacon's passive ability to duplicate the spell—allowing one copy to reset Chandra herself while the original resets Tamiyo. Once both planeswalkers return to the battlefield fresh, Tamiyo's minus ability can easily retrieve the original Flicker from your graveyard back to your hand, setting up the exact same sequence again. Because Chandra copies every instant or sorcery you cast and the loop repeats indefinitely, you generate infinite magecraft triggers and an infinite storm count to overwhelm the table.
