How it works

1. Cast Basking Broodscale by paying 1, causing it to enter with a +1/+1 counter due to Master Chef.
2. When Basking Broodscale enters, it triggers, creating an 0/1 Eldrazi Spawn creature token that enters with a +1/+1 counter due to your commander.
3. Activate the Eldrazi Spawn by sacrificing it, adding C.
4. When the Eldrazi Spawn dies, Reyhan triggers, putting at least one +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale.
5. Basking Broodscale triggers, creating an 0/1 Eldrazi Spawn creature token that enters with a +1/+1 counter due to your commander.
6. Repeat from step 3.

This clever loop turns Basking Broodscale into a self-sustaining engine by capitalizing on its ability to spawn token fuel whenever it receives a +1/+1 counter. Master Chef ensures that both the Broodscale and its generated tokens enter the battlefield with the counters they need to immediately trigger abilities, while Reyhan, Last of the Abzan acts as the vital recycling bridge, transferring the counters from dying Eldrazi Spawn back onto the Broodscale.
