How it works

1. Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing the persist creature.
2. When the persist creature dies, it triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to your commander's ability granted to it by Master Chef.
3. Resolve the Shilgengar ability
4. Repeat.

By leveraging **Master Chef**, your commander grants every creature you own the ability to enter the battlefield with an extra +1/+1 counter, which completely neutralizes the -1/+1 counter that would normally cripple a persist creature upon its return. This allows **Shilgengar, Sire of Famine** to repeatedly sacrifice that same creature, churning out an endless stream of Blood tokens with each loop. Once you have accumulated enough of these sacrifices, you can cash in six of those Blood tokens using Shilgengar's second ability to flood the battlefield with your entire graveyard, creating an unstoppable engine of endless triggers and value.
