How it works

1. Deal damage to Apex Altisaur, triggering its enrage ability, causing it to fight an opponent's creature with power one or greater.
2. Apex Altisaur is dealt damage by the creature, triggering its enrage ability, causing it to fight an opponent's creature with power one or greater.
3. Repeat step 2.

By outfitting Apex Altisaur with Darksteel Plate, you turn the colossal dinosaur into an unkillable engine of destruction. Because the Plate grants indestructible, Apex Altisaur shrugs off the damage it takes during each fight, which continuously re-triggers its Enrage ability to hunt down another target. This creates a self-sustaining loop of violence that allows you to clear the board of opposing threats until no valid targets with power one or greater remain.
