How it works
Activate up to five lands you control by tapping them, adding at least 3.
Activate Altar of Dementia twice by sacrificing Archaeomancer and Peregrine Drake, causing target player to mill cards equal to Peregrine Drake and Archaeomancer's power.
Cast Living Death by paying 3, causing each player to exile all creature cards from their graveyard, sacrifice all creatures they control, then return all cards exiled this way to the battlefield.
Archaeomancer and Peregrine Drake enter the battlefield, triggering their abilities.
Resolve the Archaeomancer trigger, returning Living Death from your graveyard to your hand.
Resolve the Peregrine Drake trigger, untapping up to five lands you control.
Repeat.
If the five lands can tap to produce at least 4, this combo nets infinite mana.
This clever recursive loop leverages Living Death to constantly cycle your creatures in and out of the graveyard, turning a single casting into an engine of continuous rebirth. As Peregrine Drake enters the battlefield, its untap trigger refunds your mana investment, while Archaeomancer's enter-the-battlefield ability conveniently retrieves Living Death right back to your hand so you can cast it again. Meanwhile, Altar of Dementia takes full advantage of this endless revolving door by converting each sacrifice into a relentless stream of milling.
