How it works

  1. Cast Time Warp by paying 3U manaU mana, taking an extra turn after this one.
  2. Cast Archaeomancer by paying 2U manaU mana.
  3. Archaeomancer enters the battlefield, returning Time Warp to your hand.
  4. Activate Erratic Portal by paying 1 and tapping it, returning Archaeomancer to your hand.
  5. Move to your next turn.
  6. Repeat.

This elegant loop puts all of time at your mercy by combining a repeatable bounce engine with spell recursion. Once you cast Time Warp to claim your extra turn, Archaeomancer follows to pluck that very spell right back out of your graveyard and into your hand. Erratic Portal then provides the mechanical leverage needed to pick Archaeomancer back up to safety, resetting its entry trigger for a mere one mana investment. By cycling Archaeomancer in and out of play, you continuously recast Time Warp to lock down every subsequent turn indefinitely.
