How it works

1. Cast Walk the Aeons by paying 6, taking an extra turn after this one.
2. Move to your next turn.
3. At the beginning of your upkeep, Followed Footsteps triggers, creating a copy of Archaeomancer.
4. Archaeomancer enters the battlefield, returning Walk the Aeons to your hand.
5. Repeat.

This loop cleverly exploits upkeep triggers to bend time to your will, centering around Followed Footsteps enchanting Archaeomancer to steadily multiply your forces turn after turn. Each time a fresh Archaeomancer enters the battlefield, its triggered ability plucks Walk the Aeons right back out of your graveyard and into your hand. Because Walk the Aeons grants you an extra turn, you can cast it repeatedly without ever letting your opponents untap again, chaining extra turns indefinitely while Followed Footsteps continuously populates the board with more copies.
