How it works

  1. Activate Wall of Blood by paying 1 life.
  2. Vilis triggers, causing you to draw a card.
  3. Sheoldred's first ability triggers, causing you to gain 2 life.
  4. Repeat as desired.
  5. Resolve all Wall of Blood abilities, giving it +1/+1 until end of turn for each ability.

This vicious loop transforms your own life total into a self-sustaining engine of doom. By continually feeding life into Wall of Blood, you intentionally trigger Vilis, Broker of Blood to flood your hand with cards, which in turn immediately offsets the life payment through Sheoldred, the Apocalypse's life-gaining draw trigger. Because Sheoldred heals you for more than Vilis and Wall of Blood require to activate, you can cycle this process as many times as you desire to grow an unimaginably massive creature while drawing your entire deck.
