How it works

1. Cast Appa either from your hand or from the command zone by paying plus commander tax if applicable.
2. When Appa enters, it triggers, airbending Aang.
3. Cast Aang from exile by paying 0.
4. Appa triggers, creating a 1/1 Ally creature token.
5. When Aang enters, it triggers, airbending Appa.
6. Cast Appa from exile by paying 0.
7. Repeat from step 2.

This dazzling loop is a masterclass in recursive airbending, fueled entirely by Semblance Anvil reducing your exiled-casting costs down to absolute zero. When you cast Appa, Steadfast Guardian, its entry triggers to exile Aang, Airbending Master, which you can immediately cast for free thanks to the Anvil's cost reduction. That re-entry triggers Aang to blink Appa right back out, letting you recast Appa for free as well and feeding Aang, Airbending Master's trigger to rack up experience counters. Meanwhile, every single time a spell is cast from exile, Appa's secondary ability chimes in to continuously flood the board with 1/1 white Ally creature tokens.
