How it works

1. Cast Appa either from your hand or from the command zone by paying plus commander tax if applicable.
2. When Appa enters, it triggers, airbending Aang.
3. Cast Aang from exile by paying 0.
4. Appa triggers, creating a 1/1 Ally creature token.
5. When Aang enters, it triggers, airbending Appa.
6. Cast Appa from exile by paying 0.
7. Repeat from step 2.

This loop uses the cost-reduction power of Semblance Anvil—with a relevant card type successfully imprinted—to drop the airbend cast cost from {2} down to a completely free {0}, allowing Appa, Steadfast Guardian and Aang, the Last Airbender to continuously bounce one another. As they repeatedly enter and leave the battlefield, Appa's triggered ability steps in to generate an endless stream of 1/1 white Ally creature tokens while driving your storm count through the roof.
