How it works

1. During your precombat main phase, activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing the legendary creature with flying.
2. When the creature dies, Jackdaw Savior triggers, returning Loyal Retainers from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Activate Loyal Retainers by sacrificing it, returning the legendary creature with flying from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. Repeat.

This elegant loop relies on a clever recursion chain between your graveyard and the battlefield, fueled by the sacrifice outlet Bloodflow Connoisseur. By sacrificing a legendary creature with flying to Bloodflow Connoisseur, you trigger Jackdaw Savior, whose ability pulls Loyal Retainers out of your graveyard and back onto the battlefield. From there, you immediately cash in Loyal Retainers to resurrect your original legendary flyer, resetting the board so the entire sequence can begin anew.
