How it works
- Activate up to seven lands by tapping them, adding at least 4.
- Activate Kenrith's fifth ability by paying 4, returning Great Whale from your graveyard to the battlefield.
- When Great Whale enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping up to seven lands.
- Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing Great Whale, putting a +1/+1 counter on Bloodflow Connoisseur.
- Repeat.
This clever engine hums by cycling Great Whale directly from your graveyard back to the battlefield using Kenrith, the Returned King's black mana activation. Each time the Whale plunges back into play, its entry trigger untaps your lands to recoup your investment, while Bloodflow Connoisseur stands ready to sacrifice the creature and fuel the loop anew with a growing +1/+1 counter. Because the lands untap for enough to cover the resurrection cost—and potentially yield a surplus—you can repeat this cycle indefinitely to amass an arbitrarily large sacrifice count and an unstoppable Connoisseur.
