How it works

1. Put a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth.
2. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a 4/4 Beast creature token.
3. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing the Beast.
4. When the Beast dies, Tarrian's Soulcleaver triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth.
5. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a 4/4 Beast creature token.
6. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
7. Repeat from step 3.

This loop transforms a modest token producer into a self-sustaining engine by turning every death into fresh growth. It all starts with Herd Baloth, which dutifully churns out a 4/4 green Beast creature token whenever it receives a +1/+1 counter. Bloodflow Connoisseur stands ready to consume those newly minted tokens, sacrificing them to steadily grow larger while feeding the graveyard. As those Beasts perish, Tarrian's Soulcleaver watches the carnage and triggers off their departure to place a fresh +1/+1 counter back onto Herd Baloth, which in turn sparks the entire sequence anew and lets you repeat the cycle indefinitely.
