How it works

1. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing another creature.
2. When the creature dies, Bishop of Wings' second ability triggers, creating a 1/1 Spirit creature token.
3. When the Spirit token enters the battlefield as an Angel due to Leyline of Transformation, Bishop of Wings' first ability triggers, causing you to gain 4 life.
4. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop hinges entirely on Leyline of Transformation, which quietly turns all your creatures, tokens, and creature cards into Angels the moment the game begins. With that foundational type-shift active, sacrificing a creature to Bloodflow Connoisseur sends it to the graveyard, which immediately triggers Bishop of Wings to spawn a 1/1 Spirit token. Because of the Leyline, that newly spawned Spirit enters the battlefield already bearing the Angel type, instantly tripping Bishop of Wings's first ability to reward you with 4 life. You can then feed that very same Spirit right back into Bloodflow Connoisseur to grow its power endlessly while generating a perpetual engine of life, tokens, and triggers.
