How it works
- Cast Plague of Vermin by paying 6 and choosing to pay any amount of life, creating that many 1/1 Rat creature tokens.
- Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing a Rat.
- When the Rat dies, Embalmed Ascendant triggers, causing each opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
- Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability.
- Repeat from step 2 as able.
This grim loop begins when you cast Plague of Vermin, trading your life total for a massive swarm of Rat tokens to flood the board. With that army ready, Bloodflow Connoisseur steps in as the executioner, happily consuming those rats one by one to grow larger with every sacrifice.
