How it works

1. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing the persist creature.
2. When the persist creature dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When the persist creature enters, Railway Brawler triggers, putting a number of +1/+1 counters on the persist creature.
4. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability.
5. Repeat

This loop relies on a clever interplay of stat-boosting and creature recursion to rapidly overwhelm your opponents. By feeding a creature with persist into Bloodflow Connoisseur, you trigger its death and subsequent resurrection with a -1/-1 counter, but Railway Brawler steps in with its triggered ability to flood that same creature with a massive influx of +1/+1 counters based on its power. Because state-based actions cancel out the -1/-1 and +1/+1 counters as soon as they coexist, the creature is left primed to be sacrificed all over again.
