How it works

1. Donate Blightbeetle to an opponent
2. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing the undying creature.
3. When the undying creature dies, its undying ability triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield without a +1/+1 counter on it due to Blightbeetle.
4. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns a normally positive mechanic entirely against your opponent by utilizing Blightbeetle's passive static ability, which ensures creatures your opponents control can't have +1/+1 counters placed on them. Once you donate that beetle to someone else, you can repeatedly sacrifice an undying creature to Bloodflow Connoisseur to pump it up with infinite counters and trigger endless deaths, exits, and entries. Because Blightbeetle prevents the returning undying creature from getting its usual +1/+1 counter upon revival, the safety valve is removed and the entire process can loop infinitely. While Bilbo, Luckwearer // Burglar's Plot rests peacefully in your deck or command zone (or handles clever exchanges elsewhere), this macabre machinery spins up limitless power right under your opponent's nose.
