How it works

1. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing Persistent Constrictor
2. When Persistent Constrictor dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Persistent Constrictor enters, Stalwart Successor triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Persistent Constrictor
4. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop centers around Persistent Constrictor, which leverages its own persist ability to repeatedly cycle through the graveyard while naturally cancelling out its own -1/-1 counters. Whenever Persistent Constrictor enters the battlefield with that negative counter, Stalwart Successor's triggered ability steps in, recognizing the first time counters are placed on a creature that turn to instantly neutralize the blemish with a +1/+1 counter instead.
