How it works

1. Activate Spirit en-Kor's first ability by paying 0, targeting Daru Spiritualist.
2. Daru Spiritualist triggers, causing itself to get +0/+2 until end of turn.
3. Resolve the Spirit en-Kor ability, causing the next one damage dealt to Spirit en-Kor this turn to be dealt to Daru Spiritualist instead.
4. Repeat an arbitrarily large number of times.
5. Activate Ayli's first ability by paying 1 and sacrificing Daru Spiritualist, causing you to gain life equal to Daru Spiritualist's toughness.

This clever interaction takes advantage of the targeting restriction on Daru Spiritualist, which checks whenever a Cleric creature you control becomes the target of a spell or ability. By repeatedly activating Spirit en-Kor's zero-cost redirection ability to target the Spiritualist, you stack up an arbitrarily large toughness boost without spending any mana. Once the Cleric's toughness reaches cosmic heights, you can cash in the investment with Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim, sacrificing the pumped-up Daru Spiritualist to her first ability to net an astronomical amount of life.
