How it works

1. Cast Leonin Relic-Warder by paying .
2. When Leonin Relic-Warder enters the battlefield, its first ability triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate Parallax Wave by removing a fade counter from it, exiling Karmic Guide.
4. Resolve the Leonin Relic-Warder trigger, exiling Parallax Wave.
5. When Parallax Wave leaves the battlefield, it triggers.
6. Holding priority, activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Leonin Relic-Warder, adding one mana of any color.
7. When Leonin Relic-Warder leaves the battlefield, its second ability triggers, returning Parallax Wave from exile to the battlefield.
8. Resolve the Parallax Wave trigger from step 5, returning Karmic Guide from exile to the battlefield.
9. When Karmic Guide enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Leonin Relic-Warder from your graveyard to the battlefield.
10. Repeat from step 2.

This intricate loop begins by setting up a self-sustaining cycle of exiles and returns fueled by Phyrexian Altar's sacrifice outlet. By using Parallax Wave to exile Karmic Guide and Leonin Relic-Warder to exile Parallax Wave, you trigger a cascade of leaves-the-battlefield and enters-the-battlefield effects. As Parallax Wave leaves, it forces Karmic Guide back to the battlefield, which in turn perpetually resurrects Leonin Relic-Warder from your graveyard.
