How it works

1. Cast Vesuvan Doppelganger by paying its mana cost. Choose to have it enter as a copy of Ratadrabik.
2. Put Vesuvan Doppelganger into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
3. When Vesuvan Doppelganger dies, Ratadrabik triggers, creating a token copy of Vesuvan Doppelganger that is a copy of Ratadrabik but is a 2/2 Zombie in addition to its other types.
4. Repeat from step 2 using the Vesuvan Doppelganger token instead.

This clever loop transforms the classic legend rule into an engine of endless iteration, fueled entirely by the global enchantment Leyline of Singularity turning all nonland permanents into legends. With that rule-bending foundation set, you cast Vesuvan Doppelganger to copy Ratadrabik of Urborg, immediately running afoul of the legend rule and triggering Ratadrabik's death-replacement effect. Because the resulting token is itself a Doppelganger copying Ratadrabik, it triggers the same fate when the legend rule claims it, creating an inescapable cascade of identical tokens that forces a draw to the game unless an opponent can interrupt it.
