How it works

1. Activate Sarkhan's first loyalty ability by putting a loyalty counter on it, causing it to become a legendary 4/4 Dragon creature with flying, indestructible and haste.
2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Sarkhan.
3. When Sarkhan dies, Ratadrabik triggers, creating a token copy of Sarkhan that isn't legendary.
4. Repeat using the Sarkhan token.

This brilliant loop turns the planeswalker Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker into a self-sustaining engine by utilizing his ability to temporarily become a creature. Once Sarkhan's plus-one turns him into a legendary 4/4 Dragon, Phyrexian Altar provides the sacrifice outlet needed to put him into the graveyard and generate any color of mana. Because that active Sarkhan was a legendary creature when he died, Ratadrabik of Urborg's static ability triggers to create a nonlegendary token copy of him. That token can then immediately activate his dragon transformation again to repeat the entire cycle endlessly, fueling infinite sacrifices, deaths, and mana.
