How it works

  1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Rangers of Ithilien.
  2. When Rangers of Ithilien dies, Ratadrabik triggers, creating a nonlegendary token copy of Rangers of Ithilien that is a 2/2 Zombie.
  3. When the Rangers of Ithilien token enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing the Ring to tempt you, with the Rangers of Ithilien token becoming your Ring-bearer.
  4. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
  5. Repeat.
