How it works

1. Activate Sarkhan's first loyalty ability by putting a loyalty counter on it, causing it to become a legendary 4/4 Dragon creature with flying, indestructible and haste.
2. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Sarkhan.
3. When Sarkhan dies, Ratadrabik triggers, creating a token copy of Sarkhan that isn't legendary.
4. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
5. Repeat using the Sarkhan token.

By animating Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker into a legendary creature with his own +1 ability, we set the stage for a clever loop powered by Ratadrabik of Urborg. Because Sarkhan becomes legendary while creature-fied, his death triggers Ratadrabik's ability to forge a non-legendary copy of him—allowing you to sacrifice the original to Umbral Collar Zealot without breaking the rules of uniqueness. That same sacrifice activates Umbral Collar Zealot's ability to surveil, while the resulting token copy can be animated all over again to repeat the cycle indefinitely.
