How it works

1. Cast Time Walk by paying its mana cost, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. Play Mystic Sanctuary.
3. When Mystic Sanctuary enters untapped, it triggers, putting Time Walk from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Move to your next turn, drawing Time Walk during your draw step.
5. Activate Mystic Sanctuary by tapping it, adding .
6. Activate Vedalken Mastermind by paying and tapping it, returning Mystic Sanctuary from the battlefield to your hand.
7. Repeat.

This elegant Vintage loop revolves around an infinite sequence of extra turns generated by casting Time Walk over and over. To sustain this, Mystic Sanctuary is played to efficiently recycle Time Walk from your graveyard straight to the top of your library upon entering the battlefield. Finally, Vedalken Mastermind allows you to pick Mystic Sanctuary back up to your hand so you can replay it on your next turn, ensuring the entire engine resets seamlessly.
