How it works

  1. Cast Gravecrawler either from your hand or graveyard by paying B mana.
  2. When Gravecrawler enters the battlefield, Virulent Emissary, Carnival of Souls and The Sibsig Ceremony trigger.
  3. Resolve the Virulent Emissary trigger, causing you to gain 1 life.
  4. Resolve the Carnival of Souls trigger, causing you to lose 1 life and add B mana.
  5. Resolve the Sibsig Ceremony trigger, destroying Gravecrawler and creating a 2/2 Zombie Druid creature token.
  6. When the Zombie Druid enters the battlefield, Virulent Emissary and Carnival of Souls trigger.
  7. Resolve the Virulent Emissary trigger, causing you to gain 1 life.
  8. Resolve the Carnival of Souls trigger, causing you to lose 1 life and add B mana.
  9. Repeat.
