How it works

1. Cast Crookshank Kobolds by paying 0.
2. Tangleroot triggers, adding .
3. When Crookshank Kobolds enters the battlefield, Soul of the Harvest triggers.
4. Holding priority, activate Words of Wind by paying 1, replacing the next card you draw.
5. Resolve the Soul of the Harvest trigger, causing you to return Crookshank Kobolds from the battlefield to your hand, and causing each opponent to return a permanent they control from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop achieves total board control by turning zero-mana creatures into a repeating bounce engine. By feeding the green mana generated by Tangleroot into the activation cost of Words of Wind, you effectively replace every card draw with a mass-bounce effect. Meanwhile, Soul of the Harvest fuels the entire mechanism by drawing cards—and thus triggering the Words of Wind replacement effect—whenever a creature enters the battlefield. This allows you to continually replay Crookshank Kobolds for free, picking up your own pieces while systematically stripping your opponents of every single permanent they control.
