How it works

1. Cast Ornithopter by paying 0.
2. Tangleroot triggers, adding .
3. When Ornithopter enters the battlefield, Kindred Discovery triggers.
4. Holding priority, activate Words of Wind by paying 1, replacing the next card you draw.
5. Resolve the Kindred Discovery trigger, causing you to return Ornithopter from the battlefield to your hand, and causing each opponent to return a permanent they control from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns the humble, free-to-cast Ornithopter into a total board-wiping engine by leaning on a clever replacement effect. With Kindred Discovery watching your chosen creature type enter the battlefield, every iteration starts by generating green mana through Tangleroot's creature-casting trigger to fund Words of Wind's activation. Instead of drawing that card, Words of Wind forces every player to bounce a permanent, letting you effortlessly scoop your own Ornithopter back to your hand while systematically stripping your opponents of their entire board state.
