How it works

1. Cast Ornithopter by paying 0.
2. Tangleroot triggers, adding .
3. When Ornithopter enters the battlefield, Guardian Project triggers.
4. Holding priority, activate Words of Wind by paying 1, replacing the next card you draw.
5. Resolve the Guardian Project trigger, causing you to return Ornithopter from the battlefield to your hand, and causing each opponent to return a permanent they control from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the zero-mana casting cost of Ornithopter into a devastating one-sided board wipe and infinite storm engine. Each time you replay the tiny flyer, Tangleroot provides the green mana needed to activate Words of Wind, which replaces your upcoming card draw with a universal bounce effect. Meanwhile, Guardian Project watches the Ornithopter enter and triggers its draw ability, seamlessly feeding the replacement effect while ignoring the graveyard restriction since the artifact keeps returning to your hand.
