How it works

1. Cast Explosive Welcome by paying 7.
2. Holding priority, cast Reiterate with buyback by paying 4, copying Explosive Welcome twice and returning Reiterate to your hand.
3. Resolve an Explosive Welcome copy, dealing 5 damage to any target and 3 damage to any other target, and adding .
4. Repeat step 3 for the other Explosive Welcome copy.
5. Repeat from step 2.
6. NOTE: Because Explosive Welcome requires two separate targets, you may need to target yourself if you are down to one opponent and they control no other applicable targets. It is best to ensure you control creature(s) to target with the damage, or that you have a high enough life total to sustain it.

This loop turns a high-cost spell into an engine by feeding the mana it generates right back into its own duplication. When you cast Explosive Welcome, you set the stage by introducing a heavy-hitting spell that conveniently refunds three red mana upon resolution. By casting Reiterate with its buyback cost paid, you copy the original spell and safely return the instant to your hand to cast again, while Twinning Staff steps in as a quiet amplifier to ensure you get an extra copy out of the exchange. The mana produced by the resolving copies of Explosive Welcome helps fund the next iteration of Reiterate, letting you endlessly repeat the process to wipe out opponents through infinite damage.
