How it works

1. Activate Horseshoe Crab by tapping it, adding .
2. Activate Horseshoe Crab by paying , untapping it.
3. Repeat.

This charming loop relies on transforming a humble aquatic creature into a veritable mana engine through a flurry of buffs and a legendary boon. Jiang Yanggu, Wildcrafter sets the stage by granting Horseshoe Crab the ability to tap for mana as long as it bears a +1/+1 counter (which the planeswalker's minus loyalty ability can happily provide). Once the Crab is suitably enhanced, Nyxbloom Ancient steps in to radically amplify your yields, tripling the blue mana produced from a single tap into a bountiful three mana. Because Horseshoe Crab's own untap ability only demands a single blue mana to reset, you are left with a surplus of two mana for every iteration, allowing you to cycle the loop indefinitely for infinite colored mana.
